About Us

Laura & Mikky Wright have lived in Wicker Park/Bucktown for over 10 years.  In 2003, Laura & Mikky became owners of the Alliance Bakery.  Seven months later, they took over the Wicker Park Inn when former owners moved to France.  Since then, Laura & Mikky have updated and expanded the B&B which now includes 6 guestrooms and 2 apartments.  Their family has also grown with the recent addition of Rafael Wright in May 2008, little brother to Generose Wright born April 2006. 

The neighborhood has changed so much over the years.  Laura & Mikky are grateful to be a part of the local scene.  Sadly, they had to give up the bakery when they started their family.  They are still frequent customers and still serve fresh pastries from the Alliance Bakery at the Inn. 

We've been honored to host so many guests and look forward to each new visitor.  This is our home and we invite you to experience Chicago and the neighborhood with a stay at the Wicker Park Inn.
